Day 1: Around Broome ALTERNATIVELY Broome to Windjana Gorge

Depending on what time you arrive in Broome, pick up your campervan before heading out to one of Broome's supermarkets to get supplies. After getting supplies begin exploring some of the many attractions within Broome. Depending on your interests spend time relaxing and swimming at Cable Beach. Marvel at the sweeping white beaches, rich red outcrops and blazing turquoise water of Gantheaume Point or participate in some of the great activities including a sunset camel ride or watch a movie at the famous Outdoor picture theatre. Alternatively if you stayed in Broome last night after picking up your vehicle and supplies early begin your Kimberley adventure.

Day 2: Broome to Bell Gorge ALTERNATIVELY Windjana to Bell Gorge

If you stayed in Broome last night, begin your Kimberley adventure by heading out to Derby and the Gibb River Road at whatever time of day suits. An adventurous day exploring the famous gorges of the West Kimberley. Explore at your own pace and marvel at the natural landforms such as Windjana Gorge (an ancient underwater reef that is now above ground) Tunnel Creek(tunnel with knee to waist high water depending on time of year so bathers and torch required) before heading to Bell Gorge (one of the most spectacular gorges in the Kimberley). If you began your Kimberley adventure yesterday spend today exploring Lennard River Gorge and immerse yourself in Bell Gorge spending the night at nearby Silent Grove Campground.

Day 3: Bell Gorge to Manning Gorge

Depart Bell Gorge and head towards Manning Gorge along the Gibb River road at whatever time of the day suits. Your departure time will depend on what time you want to arrive at Manning Gorge and which of the stunning attractions you want to explore along the way . Choose to visit, relax and swim at Galvans Gorge, Manning Gorge or Adcock Gorge.

Day 4: Manning Gorge to El Questro

Depart Manning Gorge and head down the Gibb River Road at whatever time of the day suits. One guaranteed challenge will be crossing the mighty Pentecost river (be careful) On Arrival into El Questro take the opportunity to enjoy spectacular scenery, and bushwalk amongst the many spectacular gorges on the property, fish for the mighty barramundi or take a cruise down Chamberlain Gorge.

Day 5: Around El Questro

Spend most of the day exploring the awesome attractions and things to do at El Questro Station. There are all sorts of station activities including flights, heli-fishing, gorge cruises, horseback, camel-riding, and bushwalks. El Questro Gorge is the most spectacular walk in the park making its way through narrow and shear cliff faces, clear rock pools and tropical rainforest.

Day 6: El Questro to Kununurra ALTERNATIVELY El Questro to Bungle Bungles

Today has you departing El Questro and heading towards Kununurra or the Bungle Bungles at whatever time of the day suits. If you are going to Kununurra consider a quick drive up to Wyndham and the spectacular Five Rivers Lookout & Australia' Largest Boab Tree. On arrival into Kununurra take the time to explore some of the spectacular attractions around Kununurra including Mirima National Park , Lake Kununurra and Ivanhoe Crossing. If you are choosing to drive down the Great Northern Highway into Purnululu National Park you will experience the wild assortment of gorges, canyons and towering rocky domes at the Bungle Bungles that make it arguably Australia’s most spectacular natural formations. On arrival in the Bungles choose from Kurrajong & Walardi Camp (prebooking recommended / required).

Day 7: Around Kununurra ALTERNATIVELY Around Bungle Bungles

Depending on where you spent last night, a full day to relax and explore around Kununurra. Choose between a number of world class attractions including Lake Argyle & the Ord River. Alternatively choose a day trip into the Argyle Diamond Mine (The world's largest producer of diamonds and the only source of the beautiful and unique Pink diamonds). Please note if you are choosing the Argyle Diamond Mine Option it includes a flight over the Bungles. If you have chosen to drive into the Bungles, spend the day relaxing and exploring the beauty of the Bungles that cannot be described in words. A short drive to the start of the walk to Cathedral Gorge gets you up close to the widely photographed beehive domes whilst the enormous size of the rocky outcrops will astound.

Day 8: Kununurra to Katherine ALTERNATIVELY Bungle Bungles to Lake Argyle

A long 500km drive from Kununurra to Katherine with a relaxing stopover half way at Timber Creek. A truly spectacular drive amongst some picturesque scenery. Along the way you will cross over the beautiful Victoria River and escarpements. Your departure time will depend on what time you want to arrive at Katherine and which attractions you want to revisit around Kununurra (eg Lake Argyle, Keep River National Park) and along the Victoria Highway.

Day 9: Around Katherine ALTERNATIVELY Lake Argyle to Katherine

Today you will explore the spectacle of the river, shear cliffs and rock art that make Katherine Gorge such a popular attraction. Katherine Gorge is carved through the Arnhemland plateau. It is a continuous gorge, running along perpendicular fault lines that are separated during the dry season by rock bars. The spectacle of the river, shear cliffs and rock art make this an excellent place to explore. Photos do not do this area justice. There are three ways to explore the Park, bushwalking, helicopter flight or boat cruise The best way to see Katherine Gorge is a combination of two.

Day 10: Katherine to Kakadu National Park

Today has you departing Katherine and heading out to begin exploring the attractions in the southern region of Kakadu. Along the way you have the option to stop overs at historic Pine Creek and picturesque Edith Falls. After entering Kakadu begin exploring the great attractions in the South of the park around Gunlom and Maguk. You'll be supplied with all the information you need to make the decision on the day.

Day 11: Around Kakadu National Park

A full day exploring more of the spectacular waterfalls and escarpement swimming holes in the southern sections of this exceptional National Park. Alternatively spend the day at Jim Jim and Twin Falls some of the most spectacular and photographed falls in the Top End. Please note your 4WD is allowed into Jim Jim Twin Falls so you have the option to spend the day exploring this spectacular region.

Day 12: Around Kakadu National Park ALTERNATIVELY Kakadu to Litchfield National Park

A full day exploring the northern section of Kakadu National Park including the must see Bowali Visitors Centre, Nourlangie Rock and the town ship of Jabiru. Drive out to Ubirr to explore the famous rock art & take the opportunity to watch the incredible sunset over the Wetlands (Highly recommended) before returning to your accommodation at Jabiru.

Day 13: Kakadu to Litchfield National Park ALTERNATIVELY Around Litchfield National Park

Depart Kakadu National Park and head to Litchfield National Park along the Arnhem Hwy, stopping at Fogg Conservation Reserve & Window on the Wetlands Visitors Centre. You also have the option to take a Jumping Crocodile Cruise. Your departure time will depend on what time you want to arrive at Litchfield and which of attractions you still want to explore in Kakadu National Park or along the way. You'll be supplied with all the information you need to make the decision on the day.

Day 14: Litchfield National Park to Darwin

Spend the day exploring and enjoying the magnificent waterfalls and swimming holes of Litchfield National Park. Cool off with a swim at Buley Rockhole & Wangi Falls and explore towering magnetic and cathedral anthills and rainforests before returning to Darwin late afternoon. On the way back to Darwin you have the option to visit the World Class Territory Wildlife park. Please note Vehicle needs to be returned before 4pm.
