Suggested Itinerary

Day 1: Around Broome

After picking up your campervan and supplies from one of Broome's supermarkets, spend the rest of the day exploring some of Broome's highlights. Marvel at the sweeping white beaches, rich red outcrops and blazing turquoise water of Broome's coast or immerse yourself in some of the popular attractions highlighting Broome's pearling past. Cap off a great day with a sunset at Cable Beach. (Highly Recommended)

Day 2: Broome to Bell Gorge

Today you begin your Kimberley adventure by driving out along the Gibb River Road and exploring the amazing gorges of the West Kimberley. Drive the 220km on the highway out to Derby and you are now at the start of the Gibb River Road. A memorable day exploring at your own pace. The ancient Devonian Reef in the West Kimberley is now above ground and has created some of the Kimberleys most striking natural landforms. Don't miss Windjana Gorge & Tunnel Creek.

Day 3: Bell Gorge to Manning Gorge

You are now in the heart of the Kimberley and today is all about choosing which of the stunning gorges you will spend your day exploring or swimming at. The gorges between Bell Gorge and Manning Gorge offer striking scenery, picturesque waterfalls and beautiful plunge pools. It is fair to say that the Kimberley's reputation is in part due to the stunning gorges along this section of the Gibb River Road.

Day 4: Manning Gorge to El Questro

Today you will continue along the Gibb River Road enjoying the impressive scenery and exploring the remaining attractions on your way to El Questro. Part of todays adventure includes crossing the mighty Pentecost river (be careful) On arrival into El Questro take the opportunity to make camp (campground fees and Wilderness pass entry are included in your package) and begin to explore the spectacular scenery and gorges on the property.

Day 5: Around El Questro

Today is all about exploring the awesome attractions and things to do at El Questro Station. In addition to the picturesque lookouts and gorges on the property, there are all sorts of station activities including flights, heli-fishing, gorge cruises and horseback riding.

Day 6: El Questro to Bungle Bungles

Today you depart El Questro and head down the Great Northern Highway to the Bungle Bungle National Park. (Arguably the Kimberleys most stunning attraction) The drive into the Park is a highlight in itself. Several open creek and river crossings and inspiring scenery make this a great adventure (dont worry - previous 4WD experience not required). After arriving into the Bungles set up camp and decide which of the breathtaking natural formations you will explore first.

Day 7: Around Bungle Bungles

A full day to explore the simply awesome Bungle Bungles. A short drive to the start of the walk to Cathedral Gorge gets you up close to the widely photographed beehive domes . Cathedral Gorge is incredibly stunning with its towering beehive cliff faces and sandy beach. Later in the day drive the full length of the Bungles to explore the massive canyons and towering cliffs of Echidna Chasm & Mini Palms where you will experience a very different perspective of the Bungles. (Unforgettable)

Day 8: Bungles to Fitzroy Crossing

Today is a long days driving to Fitzroy Crossing as you begin your journey back to Broome, Break up the drive with a stop at Halls Creek and the nearby attractions including China Wall & Palm Springs before continuing your journey along the Great Northern Highway. Today has you arriving and camping in Fitzroy Crossing

Day 9: Fitzroy Crossing to Broome

An early morning start as you drive up to explore Geikie Gorge. Choose from the available walks or guided cruise. Either way you will experience a great example of the wonders of the Kimberley. You will then travel the 400km from Fitzroy Crossing back to Broome bringing your Kimberley adventure to an end. Check into your campground before unwinding and exploring more of the sweeping white beaches, rich red outcrops and blazing turquoise water of Broome while you admire yet another sensational sunset.

Day 10: Around Broome

A free day to relax on the beach or visit some of Broome's highly regarded galleries and museums, shop for pearls or explore more of Broome's other highlights before returning your vehicle. Package price is based on vehicle being returned before 4pm.

Argyle Diamond Mine Tour

Day tour to the Argyle Diamond Mine ex Kununurra where you land for a ground tour of the worlds largest producer of diamonds. Reboard your plane back to Kununurra via Bungle Bungles. Cost: A$725 (Child <12 not allowed).

Mitchell Falls - Ex Kununurra

Fly over the magestic waterfalls and wilderness to the Mitchell Plateau. Then a 4km walk to the falls where you will enjoy a picnic lunch, returning to the airstrip by helicopter. Then reboard your aircraft to return. Cost: A$1120 C$1110.

Bungles Flight or Day Tour

2.5hr flight ex Kununurra over the Bungles. Cost: A$399 C$379 (3-12yrs). Full day trip fly in land and be taken around in a 4WD to the best walks. Cost: A$825 C$785 (3-12yrs)

Lake Argyle Ord River Cruise
