Day 1: Around Broome

After picking up your campervan and supplies from one of Broome's supermarkets, spend the rest of the day exploring some of Broome's highlights. Today you begin your Kimberley adventure by driving the 400km out along the Great Northern Highway to Fitzroy Crossing. On arrival take the relatively short drive up to Geikie Gorge and explore the southern most example of the Kimberley's Devonian reef (an ancient underwater reef that is now above ground). Choose from the available walks or take a guided cruise along the Fitzroy River which has cut this spectacular gorge through the limestone formations.
